INDUSTRIAL GUARDING & SCREEN WALLING

Industrial perimeter fence guarding, machine guarding, screen and partiton walls. Our modular fence guarding system is based on our MONEX40 extruded aluminium frame building system. Typical modular panels are 2040mm high and 1100mm wide using frame sections of 40 x 40mm and 40 x 80mm. All electrical wiring is housed within the frames and accessed by removing a 19mm capping strip.

Window panels are supplied in clear high impact PETG polyester or polycarbonate. Opaque panels in rigid expanded plastic with a ‘wipe clean’ surface. Colours available are blue, gray, white, green, yellow, red and black. All panels are secured ‘rattle free’ in the extrusion slot by rubber glazing strip. All extrusion slots can be sealed with a clip in extruded filler strip. A key-interlock system can be fitted to guarding, to comply with British standards, the system we use is made by Castell.
PERIMETER SAFETY FENCE GUARDING

This installation encloses a fully automatic handling system (supplied by Monk Conveyors). The operators can watch the system operating from all sides through clear polycarbonate viewing windows. The fence guarding has fully interlocked key access for designated maintenance personnel and light curtain access for pallets loaded with products to be processed.

PROTECTIVE BARRIERS
Barriers protect panels from accidental damage by fork lift trucks. These can be supplied in self coloured polypropylene or heavy duty steel.
SCREEN WALLING
Screen walls are used to improve the appearance of a factory by hiding essential but unsightly services such as compressed air, water, electricity etc. The wall shown is 4.8m high and was recently installed by Monk engineers to separate a modern production area from a stores area with racking and wall mounted services. This has greatly improved the appearance of the area at minimal cost. Screen walls can be installed 800mm from a main wall carrying factory services, this still allows good access to the services.
